Words in passing. Obiter dicta are not the thesis sentence. They are not the words that anyone planned to say, or that anyone came to hear. They might be the other words that slipped out as you lost the thread of the conversation. They may be the offhand remark that makes you realize that you forgot something important, that you’ve fallen in love, or that you most assuredly cannot listen to even one more word without flipping your shit.

This site collects original photographic works of art, junk snapshots, video ephemera and slices of life. Its authors try to publish an image per day. But obiter picta are, by their nature, somewhat unpredictable.
